my music won't play in the project
my music won't play in the project but it will play when i double click it in the file
Do you mean you have music in an audio clip in your Time Line that does not play? This is separate from your video right?
If so make sure it is active, not muted and you have the volume up inside the clip and on your listening device.
Highlight the clip and open the Inspector Pane for Audio and check out settings.
